From what I've looked at it doesn't seem like you need anything extravagant. It also looks like you can break the climb up over 2 days by staying in Little Yosemite Valley. I'm tempted to pick up the book about the hike.

do you need climbing equip. or anything special? Why can't you spend the night? Just no place to camp or too dangerous?
Looks like a fun goal. If you wait a few years, you'd have a nephew willing to go with you. D is all about adventurous exploration these days...

Doesn't it seem like the ordinary human drive to achieve, discover, and create has been seriously muted. I think government does need to “incentivize" people to be healthy...by reducing taxes, so I can use my healthy body to earn a living for me and my family, instead of useless, wasteful government programs.

I think Paul's employer is headed down the direction of incentivizing people for "healthy lifestyle choices." We routinely get big colorful booklets in the mail helping us to choose healthy habits, because you know, low health care costs rely on everyone to take responsibility for their health. Seems like we're exchanging higher salary for colorful brochures telling us to eat a salad instead of a burger.

But yeah, Newt just needs to leave. Glad he's Catholic, but good-bye already...

In my opinion he's a has-been, and sealed his fate with me when he jumped aboard the climate change wagon a while back. He also proposed a government-subsidized "savings account" program for all babies, which I think is ridiculous. I am sick and tired of elitists implementing their own rules that everyone is expected to live by. I'm a HUGE Sarah Palin fan, and hope more anti-establishment types will pop up in the coming years. We desperately need some fresh faces rather than these dinosaurs who think they can do things the way they always have, and still get elected.

If it wasn't for Michael Jackson, we would not have "Fat" or "Eat It", which would be a tragedy indeed.
